HISTORY

Gujarat Plug-In Devices Pvt Ltd a Private Limited Company was founded by a team of two enterprising engineers Sudhir Chemburkar and Dipak Kothari in 1985 with a special aim of manufacturing Transformers and other transformer connected products. They came together as friends having similar ideology and possessing engineering background and expertise in their respective field of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, They started their business by founding Digitronics in 1973. Digitronics became a multi product company having a good name in the electrical market in the region.

In the past 30 years the group has evolved from being a well known stabilizer manufacturer to a multi product conglomerate specializing in electrical products to service the Original Equipment Manufactures Market. GPDL along with its group companies manufacturers transformers, chokes, control panels, stabilizers and markets cables, motors, switchgear, annunciators, control relays and insulating papers. The turnover of the company is Rs 50 Million per year and group turn over is Rs 100 Million per year.
